          The soft, warm sand falls between my toes as I walk across the shore line. The radiant sun starts to drift away as if saying good-bye to the world, sending off its beautiful rays and then out comes the shining moon lighting up the whole city. If I could be anywhere but school it would probably have to be somewhere in Mexico. I think Mexico is a beautiful country, you can just see the sun rising in the morning warming up all of Mexico. With its beautiful light blue beaches, it’s like you can almost hear the waves crashing upon the rocks and smell the salty air. The water feels nice and cool as u walk into the ocean and the tides pouring in are not rapid and thrilling but calm and peaceful. Mexico would be an amazing place to travel to but instead I’m stuck at school for a couple more weeks. I really hope that one day I will get a chance to go to Mexico!

Having “me” time is great. I’m all alone and no one can bother me. It’s just me, myself and I. Having “me” time can be hard sometimes because there are so many people at my house and it can get really loud but when I do get I like to do many different thing. I like to go outside and play basketball or soccer and sometimes I will just go on a walk. I also like watching TV and listening to music but I find that I spend a lot of my time just watching TV and it can get really boring! Sometimes my “me” time is when I am skating. I like to just cut everyone else and just focus on what I’m doing because I spend a lot of time there anyway and it may be hard to find some "me" time but i always figure out a way.

Blog #5

Over this spring break I went to Portland to go watch a basketball game. The game was against the Portland Trailblazers VS Oklahoma City Thunder. Before the game started we walked around Portland and went shopping. The arena that they were playing in wasn’t that far away from our hotel so we just walked. There were so many people there. I don’t think I had ever seen that many people, the whole arena was packed! Even though Portland did not win the game it was still amazing and so much fun! After the game we walked around the whole arena to see if we could find the players buses, but they weren’t there so we just went back to the hotel. The next day we had to go back home, on the way we stopped in Seattle. In Seattle we went and saw the Space Needle. The Space Needle is a huge building and you go up in an elevator and you can see all of Seattle through the elevator doors and at the top you can walk around but it is so windy! After we went shopping and then it was time to go home. Well that’s what I did over spring break!

Blog #4

Well there was this one time; I was just sitting there watching TV and my little cousin came running up to me. He stared at me for a while and then handed me a piece of paper. I asked him what this was for and he said he had drawn me a picture. When I looked at it I couldn’t quite figure out what it was. It didn’t look like an animal or even a person, so I decided to ask him. Well his response was that it was Spiderman. He was so happy and proud with the masterpiece that he had created. He had the biggest smile on his face ever, it was so cute! I took the picture and hanged it in my room. When I had showed my mom she told me that I would always draw pictures and give them to everyone. She had kept some of them and she showed me. Looking at the pictures I thought to myself what was I thinking when I drew all these. They were just scribbles all over the paper and didn’t make any sense at all but I guess back then in my world they made perfect sense and were exactly what I had meant to draw 

Blog #3

Adrenaline is the feeling of fear, excitement, and nervousness all at the same time. Right before my first competition I got really nervous, anxious, and excited all at once. As I was standing waiting for them to call our names for us to warm up, I started getting all worked up, and scared and my legs and hands start to shake and all I can think about is what if I mess up, or forget what I’m supposed to do. As they called all of our names, I felt this rush of adrenaline go through me. After we were all done warming up, I got off the ice and waited for my turn. While I was waiting I started freaking out and my coach had to help calm me down so that I could go on the ice. I waited for them to call my name and once they did I got really excited and nervous and I stepped on the ice, went to my spot and waited for my music to begin. Once my music started playing all the fear was gone. When I finished my solo I was happy that I made it through and didn’t fall. I got off the ice and now all that was left to do was wait for the results.

Blog #2

Well there was this one time when I was on the computer and all of a sudden it just froze. I started pressing all the buttons on the keyword but that didn’t seem to help, so I decided to turn it off and reset it. But when I went to go start it up again it wouldn’t turn on. The screen would turn on for like two seconds then just go black. I kept trying to reset it but it just wouldn’t work! Well then I tried shaking the tower of the computer, and that didn’t help either. Then I got so mad that I just smacked the thing to see if that would help… but it didn’t and I just kept getting frustrated. Finally I told my dad, to see maybe he could fix. He did all he could but it just didn’t seem to want to work so we ended up getting a new one instead.

My name is Jasmeen. I was born in Penticton on January 5, 1998. I live with my mom, dad, brother, aunt, uncle, and my two cousins. My favourite colors are purple, green, yellow and blue.  My favourite season is fall because it’s not too hot or too cold. In the summer I like to spend time with my friends and family, go to the pool to cool off, and play sports, especially soccer. I figure skate all throughout winter, fall, and spring. I have been skating for 4 years now; this year is going to be my 5^th year. In my spare time I like read, watch TV, or go on Facebook. My favourite book is called Ruined, and my favourite TV show is Pretty Little Liras. I hate cheaters, liars and I hate getting homework on the weekend because it takes up my spare time. My favourite music is rap and R&B. My favourite music artists are Drake, Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, Wiz Khalifa, Kanye West, David Guetta, and Nicki Minaj. I really want to go to New York City, and Paris. One of my goals is to travel the world. When I grow up I want to be a criminal investigator.
